Book ‘Twitchy’ and Support the Fleet Industry

Tourette Syndrome isn’t often linked to fleet, however Stuart Ellis-Myers – a past NAFA Institute & Expo keynote speaker, three-year FLEXY Award emcee, and current board member of the NAFA Foundation – has found an intriguing way to incorporate them.

“Twitchy” – as Ellis-Myers is known – has developed a unique way he’s giving to the NAFA Foundation – and invites other fleet industry consultants to also weigh a similar approach for advancing the fleet industry.

Inspiration – Safety – Mental Health – Leadership: Twitchy, an entertaining inspirational speaker who uses his battle with Tourette Syndrome to motivate others to overcome their fears and excel in their business and life, describes himself as “Robin Williams with a twitch.”  With rave reviews from around the world, “Twitchy” is a favorite at corporate meetings, conferences, and conventions.

He offers popular speaking topics including:

  • Inspiration
  • Leadership
  • Opening and closing keynotes
  • Safety
  • Service
  • Mental health

How You Can Give Back Through Twitchy: To help further the NAFA Foundation’s mission of advancing the fleet industry, Twitchy is offering two free speaking assignments – in exchange for each organization hiring him to instead donate his $7,500 fee directly to the NAFA Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, plus cover his travel expenses. These two assignments are first-come, first-served, must occur by December 2020, and just a $4,000 deposit locks in this deal!

One of the most inspiring public speakers on the conference circuit today, Twitchy has used the life lessons learned through years of battling Tourette’s, an often emotionally crippling condition, to help others overcome their own challenges and fears.  He has spoken to more than 859 audiences internationally and has published books with his tips for succeeding.

You can view samples of Twitchy’s presentation work here, including a testimonial from NAFA CEO Phil Russo.

How to Book Twitchy to Benefit the NAFA Foundation: It’s easy to book Twitchy and have your event’s speaker fees donated to the NAFA Foundation. Contact Twitchy at (604) 709-4446, [email protected], or through his website at www.itwitch.com and mention this opportunity!

NAFA invites other consultants and organizations to also consider this mode of donating to the NAFA Foundation to advance the fleet industry. Please contact [email protected] or call (609) 720-0882 for inquiries.

NAFA Foundation’s “Cornerstones of Fleet” Campaign: Individuals and organizations can also donate to the NAFA Foundation through its premiere Cornerstones of Fleet Campaign. This fundraising initiative will help grow the Foundation’s mission to strategically advance the fleet profession through supporting beneficial industry research, education, partnerships, and scholarships.

Donors to the Cornerstones of Fleet campaign can get exclusive benefits (details found here), such as unique social events, input on and presentations about Foundation research, and more. Click here to become a NAFA Foundation Cornerstones of Fleet donor. These funds immediately go into action to continue the forward-thinking efforts that not only inform and challenge our industry but exemplify the best of what the fleet profession provides.
