While individual advanced driver assistance features have been pervasive in new vehicles for years, 2012 was a significant year toward autonomous vehicles, according to a new report from Navigant Research. Functions such as adaptive cruise control and lane departure warnings were offered as standard features on cars for the first time. The 2014 model year will see a few models offering semi-autonomous driving.
