ARI’s Charlie Guthro to Share Best Practices for Utility Fleet Maintenance and Strategies for Reducing Costs at ICUEE

Charlie Guthro, vice president of global strategic services for ARI, will offer insight and guidance into best practices for utility fleets with regard to maintenance and offer strategies for reducing costs at an educational workshop scheduled during the upcoming International Construction and Utility Equipment Exposition (ICUEE) in Louisville, Kentucky.

On Tuesday, October 3 at 8:00 a.m. in room C201, Guthro will lead a workshop titled Best Practices in Utility Fleet Maintenance Management to Reduce Costs and Maximize Uptime.

The session will explore the key aspects of an efficient maintenance program and how those best practices can be tailored to help each fleet achieve best-in-class results. The session will also cover how to leverage maintenance data and advanced analytics to establish benchmarks and key performance indicators (KPIs) to help measure a program’s effectiveness.

Guthro will also participate in a panel discussion focused on key trends affecting the industry on Monday, October 2 at 2:30 p.m. also in room C201. The session, On Your Radar: The Top Trends Impacting Utility Fleet Operations, will feature a panel of veteran utility fleet managers and industry experts who will share their insight and practical knowledge on how best to prepare for some of the most critical challenges on the horizon for the next two to five years.

On the exhibit floor, ARI’s team of utility specialists will be on hand, sharing insight and details on the ARI Driver Excellence suite of solutions, including the innovative ARI Driver Scorecard. Located at booth #3822 in the designated iP Safety Pavilion, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about this intuitive, data driven tool which allows fleets to pull data from multiple sources and integrate the information into a simplified dashboard. The ARI Driver Scorecard ranks drivers based on targeted data that depicts driving strengths and weaknesses, helping fleet or safety managers take immediate action to address the high risk drivers in their fleet while also recognizing those showing consistently safe behavior.

In addition to ARI’s team of specialists, colleagues from Auto Truck Group and Holman Parts Distribution will also be exhibiting at ICUEE at booth #5244.

ICUEE, also known as the Demo Expo, is the premier event for utility industry professionals to gain comprehensive insight into the latest technologies, innovations and trends affecting the industry. The expo takes place October 3-5 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville. ICUEE is co-located with the iP Utility Safety Conference and the Utility Fleet Conference, both of which take place from October 2-4, also at the Kentucky Expo Center.
