Merchants Fleet is pleased to announce Bob Barna has joined its Southeast region as a Regional Sales Manager. The Merchants Southeast team has significantly expanded its presence over the past year. Barna will be responsible for new client acquisition & retention efforts in Alabama, Tennessee, and Mississippi.
“Bob is well-known in the industry for his expertise and his ability to deliver creative solutions to his clients,” said Dusty Cummins, Regional Vice President of the Southeast Region. “We’re excited that he chose to bring his talents to our growing team.”
Barna has more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience, including six years in the fleet industry. His area of expertise is in large, complex fleets, and in creating strategic, data-based solutions for his clients. He joins Merchants from HUBB Filters, Inc., where he was Executive Vice President of Global Sales. He also previously led strategic sales focused on large fleets at both Donlen and LeasePlan. Barna studied Criminal Justice and Police Science at Harper College. He is based in Atlanta, Ga.
