The new Masters’ Seminar allows fleet professionals with more than five years’ experience to apply the knowledge gained through the CAFM/CAFS programs or practical experience, in a series of practical exercises. The exercises used will vary depending on the composition of the course attendees. Each exercise is designed to allow candidates to work through common fleet situations and get feedback and input from other professionals.

2014 ALTCAR Expo & Conference

As it has since 2005, AltCar offers the latest in offerings from automotive OEMs and companies large and small who are eager to offer improved alternative to existing fuels and transportation. These include hybrid vehicles as well as alternative fuels: propane, natural gas and bio diesel. AltCar claims that it offers the largest collection of these various vehicles and technologies in one place.
2014 State Fleet Managers Workshop

NCSFA’s held its first fleet management workshop in 2013. Nineteen state fleets were represented as well as six university fleets, and several municipal fleets. Topics included travel optimization, GPS, risk management, implementing CNG and fleet rightsizing and vehicle replacement scheduling. These and other topics will be covered in the 2014 Workshop.
