We believe that 2014 is going to be an exciting year in Fleet, filled with many opportunities for us all to enhance our careers and add even more value to our organizations. We summarize 2014’s Top Fleet Conferences in Seminars & Conferences. The gold standard in fleet education, NAFA shows up several times on our list – for their educational events like their fleet management seminars held throughout the year, and for the robust curriculum at the annual Institute & Expo (April) and International Fleet Academy (July).
To learn more about NAFA’s newest approach to fleet education, we turned to Kate Vigneau, NAFA’s Professional Development Specialist, and our interview with her is found in The Fleet Spot this week. We wanted to hear more about the new Masters Seminar for experienced fleet professionals and how NAFA is making their Essentials of Fleet Management seminar more accessible by offering it at alternative locations. Definitely worth a read.
Jon LeSage, who so ably guided Fleet Management Weekly over this past year, will now concentrate his journalistic efforts on his own handsome publication, Green Auto Market, as well as Automotive Information Network’s weekly Used Car Market Report, which will resume publication later this week. Since the topics Jon covers is of great importance to many in the fleet community, we will often look to Jon to give us his insight into emerging trends in both markets. We thank Jon; it is such a pleasure to work with him.
