Wheels, Inc. Named One of Chicago’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For

Wheels, Inc. was named one of Chicago Best and Brightest Companies to Work For by the National Association of Business Resources (NABR). The NABRs annual “Best and Brightest” list recognizes Chicagoland organizations that deliver exceptional human resource practices and an impressive commitment to their employees.

Wheels joins an elite list of organizations dedicated to both employee engagement and exceptional service.  Wheels understands the deep connection between employee satisfaction and our clients success, said Mary Formosa, vice president of human resources at Wheels. Through our ongoing commitment to creating a positive and fulfilling workplace, we are, in turn, able to deliver premier levels of service for our clients and their fleets.

To earn a spot on the Best and Brightest list, companies are evaluated by an independent research firm based on the quality of workplace experience they provide. Assessment criteria include communication, work-life balance, employee education, diversity, recognition, retention and more.

Wheels provides a highly competitive benefits package. In addition, the company has many recognition and rewards programs as well as educational opportunities. Many of our external study opportunities are provided at no expense to the employee thanks to our commitment to employee development and engagement programs, said Formosa.

Wheels proactively promotes healthy living, and offers complimentary wellness care programs including annual health risk assessments, flu shots, and health education programs, as well as a subsidized cafeteria with healthy food selections.

Formosa added that Wheels is one of the most diverse companies in the fleet industry at all levels of the organization. We are also heavily involved in the local community, including a longstanding volunteer program with a nearby grade school that has a high ESL enrollment, she said.

This year’s inclusion marks the eighth time that Wheels has been included on the Best and Brightest list. Wheels and other organizations featured on this year’s list will be honored at a celebratory presentation and luncheon on July 17.
