Driving Dynamics, Inc., a provider of advanced performance driver safety training and fleet risk management services, announced today that Richard Traister has been named as the company’s director of account development.
Richard’s association with Driving Dynamics began in June 2012 in a consultative account development capacity. Reporting to Art Liggio, Driving Dynamics president, in his expanded director role, Richard will be responsible for providing new opportunities for growth by delivering ongoing market analysis, expanding constituent touch points, managing new product rollouts and conducting strategic account reviews. Working closely with operations and training leadership, Richard will help develop, maintain and build customer relationships, consult with fleet operators on benefits of Driving Dynamics’ advanced driver training and risk management services and manage ongoing account-related needs.

Richard has spent the better part of his 34 year professional career in the insurance and risk management field. Graduating from Temple University with a B.B.A. in insurance and risk management, he spent seven years in various underwriting positions, evaluating physical and financial risk factors of large commercial accounts. He transitioned into the production side of the business taking on various sales management roles, along with owning his own agency where he focused on helping large fleet dependent organizations manage their loss exposures through the identification of risk factors and implementation of effective loss-control programs. Mr. Traister also has several years of experience in the GPS/ telematics industry, helping corporations improve their efficiency and reduce auto-related losses through the monitoring of their fleet driver activities and designing driver safety programs.
