LeasePlan Leverages New Expertise to Expand Sales Footprint

Fleet management provider, LeasePlan USA, announces record growth and expansion of the client acquisition sales team. In 2014, LeasePlan USA saw significant growth, which led to several organizational developments.

LeasePlan recently appointed fleet sales veteran, Joseph Danca, to the newly created position of national sales vice president under Brian Barber, senior vice president sales. LeasePlan has also hired two new additions to the company’s sales staff, Bill Bauza and Tina Massey (Orwick).

Bill Bauza will serve as vice president sales, national accounts, for the Great Lakes region. In this role, he will use his 32 years of professional sales experience to deliver consultative service. Bill’s professional experience includes extensive sales, management, marketing and training roles for the global healthcare industry and most recently for a national financial services & software development company as the vice president of sales & marketing for North America. “We are pleased to have Bill join our team,” said Brian Barber, senior vice president, sales. “Bill’s experience will provide a fresh set of eyes and a customer-centric approach to fleet professionals.”

As vice president sales, strategic accounts, Tina Massey (Orwick) will be focused on new client acquisitions for strategic accounts. Tina brings 25-plus years of professional, fleet management and OEM experience with her to deliver high touch service to LeasePlan’s already growing portfolio of customers. She has held various client-facing roles in the fleet industry. “Tina’s fleet management experience will allow her to consult with fleet and procurement managers and propose fleet solutions to ensure they reach their short and long-term goals,” said Jon Toups, chief sales & marketing officer.  In addition, Tina is actively involved in the industry and participates in AFLA, NAFA, NTEA and ISM.

Toups added, “57-plus years of sales experience have just been added to LeasePlan’s already knowledgeable sales team. We look forward to the new outlook and approach Tina and Bill will bring to the new relationships they build.”
