eDrivingSM has been named the winner in the Fleet Safety Product category of Brake’s fifth annual Australasian Fleet Safety Awards.
The award was presented for eDriving’s innovative smartphone-based fleet driver risk management solution, Mentor by eDrivingSM.
Mentor provides everything managers need to achieve and sustain a crash-free culture® in a smartphone-based micro-learning and behavioral change management system. Mentor guides driver performance and provides feedback on risky behaviors such as harsh acceleration, braking, and cornering, speeding, and phone distraction. Most importantly, it follows up with weekly 3-5 minute engaging, interactive coaching modules to address risky driving behaviors and influence attitudes and behaviors, one trip at a time.
“It’s fantastic to see our risk management product, Mentor, continue to excite our customers worldwide and in particular in the Australasian market where we have been working locally now for over 10 years in partnership with Zurich Risk Engineering supporting their customers’ primary safety mission – to help protect their drivers while driving for work purposes. Exciting day at eDriving – ripper!” said Cory Fee, eDriving’s Vice President, Customer Success, AMEA.
Brake’s Australasian Fleet Safety Awards, sponsored by the NZ Transport Agency, recognize the achievements of those working to help reduce the number of road crashes involving at-work drivers. The winners were announced in Auckland, New Zealand, on September 12.
The awards are held annually and are part of Brake’s Global Fleet Champions initiative, a global partnership campaign to prevent crashes and reduce pollution by vehicles used for work purposes.
Caroline Perry, Brake’s NZ Director, said: “We are delighted to have run our fifth Fleet Safety Awards, celebrating the achievements of companies and individuals who are striving to make a real difference in the world of fleet safety. Congratulations to all the award winners and highly commended entrants for their impressive work reducing incidents involving at-work drivers and vehicles.”
The award is the latest recognition for Mentor, which has already won three awards this year: an American Business Award®, a People’s Choice Stevie® and an International Business Award®.
It has also been shortlisted in Brake’s UK Fleet Safety Awards in two categories, Fleet Safety Product and Fleet Safety Innovation. Winners will be announced on September 19.
