Donlen Releases Advanced Courtesy Dealer Portal to Enhance Customer Delivery Experience

Donlen has released Agent Central eDraft, an advanced electronic draft portal that provides courtesy delivery dealers with enhanced visibility to vehicles on order through each step of the production phase.

From the moment a vehicle is assigned to a dealership, they will have access to comprehensive data that will allow them to prepare for the delivery, and in turn get vehicles to their customer’s drivers more efficiently.

With this new portal, Donlen’s courtesy delivery dealers will be able to deliver vehicles faster and more efficiently to drivers, improving the driver and dealer experience for fleet customers.

The real-time data dealers receive via Agent Central allows them to accurately track the status of incoming orders, and contains detailed instructions for the dealership to follow prior to releasing vehicles to drivers. The detailed information provided to dealers through Donlen’s electronic draft portal includes OEM data such as MSO details, plates and other compliance information.

“In order to provide a better delivery experience for our customers’ drivers, and for our dealer network, we developed a streamlined delivery platform built on real-time OEM, transportation, and upfitter data,” said Cindy Gomez, vice president of vehicle acquisition services at Donlen. “Fleet professionals will be reassured, knowing that their drivers will receive timely, professional service at delivering dealerships, allowing their drivers to get on the road and start using the new vehicle for business purposes as quickly as possible.”

Donlen’s Agent Central also captures data from dealerships, such as whether a vehicle was issued a temporary tag, and if so, the expiration date. Donlen can then track that information and alert the dealership to take action if a driver’s temporary tag is near expiration, addressing a very common issue for fleets.

“Along with providing the dealerships with key status events within the portal, we are also sending automatic notifications to alert dealers of new orders, e-drafts that are ready for processing, missing plate information, temporary tag expiration date reminders, and dealer installed options,” said Michael Orozco, dealer relations and transportation manager at Donlen. “These notifications will reduce the amount of research needed by our dealership partners, improving the process and saving them time.”
