Ask Alexa, “What’s New at ARI?” During NTEA’s Annual Work Truck Show

ARI’s team of truck and supply chain specialists set to discuss the latest fleet management challenges as well as the company’s ongoing Amazon Alexa pilot program

ARI® will once again exhibit at NTEA’s annual Work Truck Show held March 6-9 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. Located at booth #4784, ARI’s team of truck and supply chain specialists will be on hand to explore solutions for some of today’s most critical fleet challenges.

ARI will also host a press conference on Wednesday, March 7 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. in room #242 that will provide an overview of the company’s ongoing Alexa integration pilot program which allows fleet managers to request fleet data with simple voice commands from any Alexa-enabled device.

“Most fleet managers have such a hectic schedule that just getting a briefing from Alexa in the morning to find out the latest downtime figures or which vehicles are overdue for preventive maintenance is extremely helpful and can dramatically increase efficiency,” said ARI’s Director of Client Information Services Don Woods. “No longer do they have to sit at their computer, log into the system, search for the information and generate a report. With our Alexa integration, they can simply have a conversation with Alexa during their morning cup of coffee or drive to the office.”

ARI’s Don Woods is also set to participate in a panel discussion, Integrating Multiple Data Streams to Enhance Fleet Decision-Making, during the Fleet Technical Congress which is held concurrently with the NTEA Work Truck Show. The session, scheduled for Tuesday, March 6 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. in Grand Ballroom 4/5 of the Westin Indianapolis, will feature a panel of industry experts who will share their insight and practical knowledge on how best to effectively integrate and analyze data to transform large amounts of information into useful decision-making tools.

At this year’s Work Truck Show, ARI invites attendees to visit the company’s booth to discuss the wide range of fleet management challenges often associated with operating a complex vocational fleet. ARI’s team of industry veterans will be available to help fleet personnel examine best-in-class strategies for controlling some of the most important areas of fleet management such as taking charge of the supply chain and using Big Data to predict and prevent critical issues. Visitors to the ARI booth will also have an opportunity to win an Amazon Echo.

In addition to ARI’s team of specialists, colleagues from Auto Truck Group and Holman Parts Distribution will also be exhibiting at the Work Truck Show at booth #4691.
