AmeriFleet Names Julie Allen Director of Sales

AmeriFleet has promoted Julie Allen to the role of Director of Sales after serving as Sales Manager over the last year.

An important part of AmeriFleet’s success growing new sales channels in 2016, Allen leaves her previous role as the company embarks on new efforts to increase market share in North America. She will continue to report to VP of Sales and Marketing Ryan Showers, and focus her efforts on growing the company’s significant business in the transportation, licensing and work truck spaces.

A graduate of Kennesaw State University who is currently pursuing her MBA in Business Management, Allen came to AmeriFleet in 2013 as a Business Development executive with extensive knowledge of various enterprise industries. According to Showers, Allen earned this new position based on her ability to foster meaningful, long-term relationships with customers.

“We made a conscious effort to grow several sales channels in the past year, and Julie has been a big part of that effort,” Showers said. “We know she’s going to continue doing amazing things for the company and — more important — our customers.”

For her part, Allen is both excited — and honored — to be taking on a Sales Director role. An Atlanta native who lives just north of the city, she volunteers for a number of organizations including the local chapters of the Humane Society and Heart Association. A fan of “interior design” in her spare time, Allen is anxious to make significant strides not only in her new role at AmeriFleet, but also in the fleet space in general.

“We have some really big things planned at AmeriFleet, and I’m delighted to be a part of those efforts,” Allen said. “The fact that everyone in the industry is so supportive and willing to help each other — I’m grateful to be part of a network where people care about each other’s success.”
