General Motors and Isuzu Motors Ltd. have agreed to work together on development of a new pickup truck. An agreement has been signed between the two OEMs, but they’ve been vague about the planned vehicle. It’s a joint R&D project to explore development of a “next-gen” pickup. For now, GM is concentrated on its Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickups, with a new version of the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon in the works.
