Renault-Nissan Alliance chief Carlos Ghosn is still quite optimistic about the global automaker surging forward in electric vehicle sales, even if the past year didn’t go as well as he’d initially predicted. Improvements in the yet-to-dollar exchange rates are helping the company feel more confident, along with building Nissan Leafs at tis Tennessee factory and its Washington plant in the United Kingdom – both of which are helping remove costs from shipping and currency exchanges.
